# At a glance
CASE-V does not collect data for advertising, tracking, or analytics.
Your content is stored encrypted in 'your own iCloud', and the developer cannot view it.
# Choices you control
## Upload and sync
- You choose whether to upload photos or videos, and which items to upload.
- iCloud sign-in, Keychain, and storage are managed in your Apple ID settings.
## Hidden and lock
- You can 'hide' items you do not want others to see.
- Viewing hidden files requires biometrics (or device passcode) and a PIN.
- On Mac, you can turn the background lock screen on or off in Settings.
## Ratings and sort
- You set ratings and sort preferences.
## Deletion
- Deleting an item in the App removes it from the cloud and cannot be undone.
- If you stop using the service, delete any items you need to remove, then delete the App.
# Device permissions
You can turn these permissions on or off in device Settings:
- Photos access
- Face ID / Touch ID
- Notifications
Turning a permission off may limit some features (upload, Hidden authentication, sync notifications, and similar).
# Tracking, advertising, and analytics
- CASE-V does not request permission under App Tracking Transparency to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- We do not use advertising identifiers for marketing.
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
# Apple ID and iCloud choices
Storage and sync are tied to your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
- iCloud storage and Keychain: device 'Settings' → Apple ID → iCloud

We may need to verify your identity. For encrypted data the developer cannot access, we may instead guide you on how to delete or manage it in the App and iCloud.
