# Summary

CASE-V is a private gallery that stores your photos and videos encrypted in your iCloud.
We do not collect or store your content on a separate developer-operated server, and we do not collect personal information through advertising or analytics SDKs.

# Information we process

The App does not “collect” personal information into a developer account or through third-party analytics tools.

For App features, the following may be processed on 'your device' and in 'iCloud under your Apple ID':

- Photos and videos you upload (stored encrypted in your iCloud)
- App metadata such as ratings, hidden status, and sort-related settings
- A PIN for Hidden features (stored in on-device secure storage; not synced to iCloud)
- Biometrics and device passcode are handled by the device OS; the App does not store biometric data

# How information is used

- Upload, sync, view, and delete encrypted media
- Provide security features such as Hidden and lock
- Provide gallery features such as sort and ratings

# Storage and access

- Encrypted media and related metadata are stored in 'your own iCloud (CloudKit)'.
- Encryption keys are managed on the user side, such as 'iCloud Keychain' on your devices.
- The developer cannot view your encrypted content.
- Local cache and settings may be stored on your device.

# Sharing with third parties

The App does not share personal information with third-party SDKs for advertising, analytics, or marketing.

OS and Apple services such as iCloud, CloudKit, and Keychain are governed by Apple’s policies.

# Retention and deletion

- Encrypted data in iCloud is managed when you delete items in the App, or through your Apple ID / iCloud settings.
- Deleting the App may not automatically remove all remaining data in iCloud. If needed, delete items in the App first, then check Apple ID / iCloud settings.
- On-device PIN and local data are generally removed when you delete the App.

# Children

The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

# Permissions

Depending on features, the App may request access to:

- Photos and videos (upload and save)
- Face ID / Touch ID or similar biometrics (security such as Hidden)
- Notifications (for example, iCloud change sync)

You can change permissions in device Settings.

# International processing

When data is stored in your iCloud, processing and storage locations may vary under Apple’s iCloud infrastructure policies.

# Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page and, if needed, provide notice in the App or on the web.
